Final Task

This was definitely the hardest project thus far, and we had somewhat of a rough time but by the end we persevered, Personally i think disregarding our past Issues we did really well, There's some minor discrepancies in the video pretraining to the plot but i think its amazing for a High-School Film Project and honestly its pretty enjoyable to watch, so i feel like the viewer will enjoy it

Editing Software's Blog

We used three editing software's during the production of this video. The first one we used was called Capcut. This was used to help link the clips together for the video. This made the whole video for us and all we had to do was put it in. This software also helped trim many of the clips needed for our video. If we didn't have the ability to trim, we would have a 3 minute long video. This software is undoubtedly the most important software that we had to use. Without this easy to use software, we probably couldn't complete this video because all the rest are priced or on laptop. This software allowed us to do it on our phones meaning we could edit anytime we wanted. The next software we used was called Bandlab which helped with the audio part of the video. This helped with making the audio we spoke louder. We also could add sound effects to our video. So much audio that we couldn't add with capcut made this editing software required for our video. Our last editing software is one we did not talk about yet. It is called Youcut. This helps edit the completed video even more. Since we could not combine the audio with the video with capcut or bandlab, we used youcut to help us. This helped us extremely because there was no other wway for us. This also helped putting the titles of the words for our video. Overall these software's had helped us because they could all do what the other cant, and I am very excited to show you my completed video.

Changes made from film review

After Mark did the film review for us, we decided we had to make some changes to our video in order to make sure it is fit to be the best it can be. The first thing we changed were the voices in our video. We decided to edit the audio so that everytime we speak, we put it into a new track. We started using an app called Bandlab in order to fix the audio. This helps alot with adding the audio, putting effects, lowering and raising volume, putting filters, and many other things. When putting the audio on a different track, we made it louder. This made it so we can actually hear the audio. Since we couldn't go out to film, we worked on audio. The only thing that we actually could work on is audio. This made it hard to fix all of Mark's problems. We still tried our best to make things right though. Although it was hard and rigorous, we fought with everything we had. Our battle was fierce and upsetting, but in the end we won. This video is the reason that we have struggled so far and we will not give up. Even if Jason and I cannot finish this until the end, we will try with everything we've got. We tried submitting into Mark's wishes, but we decided to do things our way. We will not get help from an outsider who only plays DRAGON BALL LEGENDS! RISING RUSH! Thus, we will finish the video our own way. Even if Markzy disagrees with us.

Filming Blog: Our Destinations True End

While we were editing we came across some issues, our scenes really didn't seem to be coherent, Jason and Chad brought this up to me and Ethan while we were in class, It seemed like a big problem so to remedy this we went back out and recorded, after we figured out what was junk in our film we cut it out and we were left with 30 more seconds to fill in our required time for our movie, so after this was done we had to brainstorm what the next move would be, and we came to the conclusion to add more to the fight, even though it would leave some discrepancies in our story board we recognized that it would be needed for a good film, so what we did was just add more to the fight, After the initial fight, Jason and Chad hop back to gain some space in-between each other and in response to this Jason sees Ethan's sword on the floor and he starts duel wielding them to gain an advantage, Jason had subpar duel wielding skills so Chad was able to block all three of his accounts, after this Jason Spun backwards to gain distance between Him and Chad, After this Jason does a Jump and cuts down-wards with this happening the Film ends there, Jason Chad and Ethan dont think enough effort was put but i personally think its alright for what it was.

Peer Film Review

The one who wrote the criticisms for our video was a junior named Mark. Mark is an aspiring rapper and has made many songs already. I wanted to ask Mark to make a criticism for our video because I thought that he would have the most unbiased opinion. So me and Jason asked Mark if he could watch and review our video. At first after the first time he watched it, he laughed which was fine because I would have done the same thing. After he finished laughing he watched it again and started criticizing. He said many things like I felt the overall emotion in the battles. The suspenseful moments caught my eye quite quickly upon only just now seeing the characters. The angles were thought out carefully and executed in the right way. The sound effects were relatively as close as possible as can be. The facial expressions gradually shifted all throughout the film. The first 21 seconds of walking took too long. The voices were too low to a certain extent. The scenery was rather bright and didn't match the overall aesthetic of the Dialogue between characters. The running in the battle felt a little delayed and too weak. The sword was conveniently placed by a tree without any thorough explanation. The impact of the hits during the battle seemed a little more fast forward. The ending had me wondering what would happen next. More emotion could have been put into everything leading up to the fight. The runs felt very stiff. So overall, there were many things right with the emotions, but the actions themselves needed some work.

Editing Blog: Tying up loose ends

With this editing session, we got very close to finishing our Project, and all we had to do is just fix very small things. We got the music from Jamie Christopherson and the music fit perfectly into our video. The next thing we had to do was the voiceovers for the video, We had to do voiceovers because in one of our videos their was a lot of background noise and rather then going back to record we just opt in to doing a voice over which was way eaiser then going back to our scene and get it one for one, But, we didnt have to do voice overs of all our clips, everything ended up very good so we just started trimming to fit our quota since we had a little bit more footage then needed, the only thing that need we really need to do was settle on a group name.

Editing blog: Working Together

For our editing blog, i was pretty hands off, as most times Me and Ethan only really provided advice as to where to go next with the editing, I never really work on editing but it seemed like it was going pretty well since Chad and Jason barely asked for advice, as they were editing I was thinking about as to what we could do with our transitions and title cards, and we really didnt talk about it just yet but after that we started to getting work refining our project, we were far from done but were making alot of progress.
