1. How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?


In the opening sequence, there is about 12 different titles. All were names except the title of the movie.


2. What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel)


The connotations show thrill and suspense. They make me feel looked upon.


3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you
tell what genre the film is)


It is reinforced by images of a brain and dark imaging.


4. What conventions are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?

The conventions are used to appeal to the target audience by having very ominous music and dark images.
